BOTOX® Cosmetic from Allergan is the most popular cosmetic enhancement in the world. It is used to smooth out fine lines and lessen the appearance of dynamic wrinkles. It has also been used successfully in the management of hyperhidrosis, or excess sweating of the hands, feet, and armpits. Results are seen in 7-10 days typically. The effects last roughly 3-4 months. It is wise to stop taking aspirin or ibuprofen-like products for two weeks before injection to decrease the risk of bruising.

Chemical Peels in Denver, Colorado

It is used off-label in many other areas of the face and is a great product for use in the rapidly progressing field of hand rejuvenation.

Autologous Fat Grafting in Denver, Colorado

It is possible to perform small areas of liposuction to obtain your own natural fat and use this fat to volume augment areas of the face that are looking more hollow and deflated: forehead, temples, upper eyes, lower eyes, cheeks, lips, chin, and jaw line. Necklift/Mini-Facelift (Rhytidectomy) in Denver, Colorado

As we age volume loss in the face coupled with the effects of gravity on skin that has lost its elasticity results in sag in the cheeks, jowls, and neck. State-of-the-art techniques in minimally invasive facial rejuvenation are employed at the Shah Clinic to "turn back the clock" on your face making you look like yourself, only refreshed. Often these procedures can be performed in the office with local anesthesia and oral sedation (Valium, Ativan, Xanax, etc.) resulting in an easier post-operative course with less downtime than traditional facelifting surgery. Results are comparable to those obtained with traditional facelifting surgery but probably not as long lasting especially in those with severe sun damage and/or a long-standing history of smoking in the past.

Eyelid Lift (Blepharoplasty) in Denver, Colorado

Hooding of the upper lids and bags/saggy skin of the lower lids make the eye appear smaller and less distinct. Eyelid lifting surgery, that removes or repositions fat and tightens loose skin, in my opinion, can make the greatest single change in the appearance of the face. Open eyes that light up the room will get you noticed! This is another procedure that can be safely performed in the office under local anesthesia with oral sedation. Downtime for the upper lids is usually 7-10 days, but for the lower lids can be as long as six months.

Angela Walker is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. Certifications include: AFAA, (Cycling, personal training, and Kickboxing) and Les Mills Body Pump (a European based company). She has been in the Health and Fitness industry for over 15 years. She currently teaches 8 group fitness classes per week, and personal trains small groups or individuals when needed. She also specializes in Diet and Nutrition, because without a program like this, one cannot achieve the maximum results for a "fit and healthy lifestyle". She, herself, lives a very healthy lifestyle and firmly believes that by teaching, motivating, and empowering people to change their bodies through cardio, strength training, and adherence to a proper diet, one can not only feel better but look 10-15 years younger!
